  • Q: What should I expect at my first appointment?

    A: Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your appointment time. This will allow you plenty of time to fill out any necessary paperwork and to get comfortable before meeting with the doctor.

    Your doctor or nurse will answer all your. We encourage your feedback to ensure you receive the best possible treatment and an emphasis on any problem areas.

    For your comfort, you will be professionally draped with a sheet and blanket during your service.

  • Q: What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?

    A: Because of the individualized nature of the services that we offer, our spa providers prepare treatment rooms and services in advance for every client.

    If you are unable to keep your appointment, please provide us at least 24 hours notice (48 hours notice for multiple services and/or spa packages).

    We reserve the right to charge for appointments not cancelled within this time frame.

  • Q: What time should I arrive for my appointment?

    A: Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to relax and prepare for your treatment.

  • Q: What type of payment do you accept?

    A: At The Beauty Medics we accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Care Credit, and cash.

  • Q: Do you accept insurance?

    A: Most cosmetic procedures are not considered to be medically necessary by insurance carriers. Therefore, charges must be paid at the time of each visit. Some procedures may be approved by your insurance carrier or flexible spending account. If you’d like to submit your receipts to your insurance carrier, The Beauty Medics will provide you with necessary forms to include with your claim submission. Your insurance carrier will reimburse you directly for any covered services.

  • Q: Are there any health services that would prohibit me from getting a service?

    A: Please be aware when scheduling your appointment that certain health concerns and medical conditions may require medical clearance before you can receive services. If you are currently under medical care, please notify our reservation staff to ensure that you can be seen.

  • Q: What is the difference between a day spa and a medical spa?

    A: At a day spa you’ll generally find mud baths, fruit peels and therapeutic massages. Medical aesthetic treatments go far beyond that, and medical spas offer more intense treatments with much more noticeable results.

    At The Beauty Medics we specialize in procedures in the field of aesthetics, not including surgical procedures requiring an operating table and general anesthesia. Aesthetic procedures include Dermal Fillers such as Botox and Juvéderm, permanent hair removal or reduction, acne treatments and many more.
